Chairman and founder Andrew Harding
Andrew Harding is a successful businessman with experience in forming and operating high technology companies. He co-founded Stratos Ltd UK that was later sold to ICI plc.
He was also the co-founder of Mikon Ltd, later sold to the NASDAQ listed US corporation Methode Electronics. Both companies were active in the fibre optics component market.
He has global management experience in technology companies, cross-border joint ventures. Corporate turn-around and M&A.
CEO, Director and founder Richard Durrant
Richard Durrant has more than 23 years experience in the Fiber Optics market with 10 patent assignments, 3 pending and was a co-founder of Mikon Ltd the successful UK start-up sold to the NASDAQ listed US corporation Methode Electronics in 1993.
His career began in engineering, moving to Sales and Marketing, to General Management and in recent years to the role of Executive Vice President of Stratos International, a daughter company of Emerson Corporation. (NASDAQ EMR.)
CMO/CTO, Director and founder Igor Stouklov
Igor Stouklov has advanced degrees in Physics, Optics and Engineering and over 20 years of experience in Optics, Lasers and Fiber Optics.
He has worked with 4 start-ups and two public companies, with experience that has included engineering, technical, marketing and general management of large teams.
In addition, Igor has been a founder with two companies, one in Russia and one in the USA. He has established senior relationships with major global optical telecom OEMs and service providers. He has numerous patents to his name.
Igor has been co-managing the redevelopment of the UK business, since October 2005, successfully expanding its core client base.
General Manager, Mark C. Benton, PE, PhD
Mr. Benton has new product development experience spanning some 25+ years in industries ranging from electronic materials (DuPont), electronic connectors and interconnect systems (Berg Electronics & Daniel Woodhead), and most recently optoelectronic transceivers and video subsystems (Stratos International, Inc., an Emerson company).
Mr. Benton held various technical and business roles over 10 years at Stratos associated with the optoelectronics businesses including Director of Engineering. He became Director of Product Management - Video with P&L responsibility in 2003 and led the business development of optoelectronic products aimed at digital video (HDTV) transport applications until 2009.
He joined AFP, LLC as GM as part of AFP, Ltd. expansion efforts focused on Enhanced Video Solutions, including active video media conversion products targeting the broadcast production and many industrial environments.
Mr. Benton holds a Masters and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a BS in General Engineering from the University of Illinois. He is a registered Professional Engineering in Delaware.
