Both processes produce high-yield, low cost solutions on all types of fiber, including SMF, MMF, PMF, FBGF, etc.
Precise fiber tip geometries allow very high coupling ratios to be achieved with low back-reflection characteristics that will sustain high optical power transmission.
AR coatings can be added to the fiber lens tip for any targeted optical power as well as combining the lensed fiber tip with hermetic feed through features, metallization etc.
